making plone 4 releases

I think we need to be careful to not pull in unnecessary updates that were meant for plone 5 into plone 4 releases.

It seems that the latest plone 4 release pulled in an update to plone.app.blob and plone.app.openid that were unnecessary and are causing errors.

They should be fixed today but just an FYI.

Re: making plone 4 releases

that could be avoided adding a circular reference to Products.CMFPlone
and setting the specified Plone version the package branch is intended
for, but I don't know if we want to do something like that.

Hi Nathan,

Are those bug affecting Plone 4.3.5? Can you point out which bugs you
are talking about?

Re: making plone 4 releases

I could work on the second issue and I would most likely be able to fix
it today. I just did not start because someone else claimed it first.
Let me know if I should work on it.

Re: making plone 4 releases

Please fix. Shouldn't be difficult. I think it's a one liner. Just make a note on the ticket.

Do you plan to release a new 4.3.x version fixing only these 2 bugs ?
